Grand Marais Public Library is pleased to announce that the Science Museum of Minnesota will bring its “Roll for Engineering” youth science program to the library Thursday, February 21, 2019, 4:00-5:00 p.m. The library’s reading room will transform into an engineering lab where youth can try their hands at challenges such as building a zip line between two chairs or designing a parachute that takes at least four seconds to fall five feet. Presenters from the museum will use these hands-on challenges to explore what engineers do, what inspires them, and why engineering is important.
