The Happy Hikers will hike through the woods to the lovely Lake Agnes on Thursday, Sept. 20. We should see some touches of fall colors in the deep woods and we'll enjoy our lunches beside or above the water. This hike is medium difficulty and a distance of about 4-5 miles round trip. . Meet at the YMCA at 9am. We'll carpool to the trailhead. (Suggested donation for the driver is $2). Bring a sack lunch.

Directions to the trailhead: Take Highway 61 to Lutsen, turn onto Caribou Trail, go 3 miles. Turn right on CR 39, go .01 miles and park along the road on the right side. Take the Lake Superior Trail entrance on the west side.

Hiking shoes, poles, hat, water and your sack lunch are recommended. Dogs are welcome, on a leash. Invite your friends! Spread the word! The hiking season is winding down and we are into some of the most beautiful hikes. Just this one and two more... don't miss out!
