Visiting Optometry Clinic, Minnesota Eye Associates, Coming to North Shore Health August 28–29
Jul 23, 2026 06:10AM ● By EditorNorth Shore Health is pleased to welcome Minnesota Eye Associates, a visiting optometry clinic, on Friday August 28 and Saturday 29, 2026, bringing comprehensive eye care services to the Cook County community.
The two-day clinic will offer comprehensive medical eye examinations, glasses prescriptions when indicated, and evaluation and management of common eye conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and age-related macular degeneration.
Dr. Matheus Ozbek, OD, of Minnesota Eye Associates is a consulting optometrist for the clinics at NSH. Dr. Ozbek is Minnesota-born and raised and graduated from St. Olaf College in 2010. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree cum laude, ranking in the top 10 of his class at the Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2019. Minnesota Eye Associates doctors are fully insured, and certified to practice Optometry in the state of Minnesota. Their examinations are specifically designed to meet the needs of geriatric patients with limited mobility capabilities.
