Extreme heat and humidity is expected over the Northland this weekend. The peak of this heat wave is expected on Sunday and Monday. It will NOT be a dry heat, with dew point values in the high 60s to low 70s expected. A Heat Advisory and Extreme Heat Watch are in effect today through Monday.

Near Critical Fire Weather Conditions are possible early next week as conditions remain dry and and winds increase, mainly across north central and northeast Minnesota.
