North Shore Health to offer Certified Nursing Assistant Education Program

North Shore Health is offering a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Education Program from April 26th to July 10th, 2026, allowing participants to start their healthcare career journey right here in Cook County. This program provides a comprehensive, Minnesota Department of Health-approved curriculum designed to prepare learners for safe, person-centered care in long-term care, assisted living, and healthcare settings.
This blended hybrid learning program includes 35 hours of online instruction on the Aging Services industry and all aspects of CNA training using the OnTrack Curriculum. It also includes two in‑person proctored exams, 24 hours of in‑person skills lab instruction taught by a Registered Nurse, and 16 hours of clinical experience providing direct patient care under Registered Nurse supervision at North Shore Living Care Center.
Tuition Options:
· Option 1: (2 seats available) $1650 straight pay with no promise to work
· Option 2: Sign a promissory note- NSH pays your tuition, test fees and ensures your program completion, you agree to work 1000 paid hours in the North Shore Living Care Center.
