There is beauty in the changing of the seasons. Some places in the state flowers are starting to grow but during the first week of spring snow and ice remain on the North Shore. The surface of Lake Superior is hovering right at 32 degrees. It can freeze over with skim ice as soon as the wind goes down. The rising sun reflects the beauty of Lake Superior in that ever-changing ice.
