Public invited to Superior National Forest open house events

The Superior National Forest invites the public to the following district office open houses in March and April.
- The Laurentian Ranger District open house is Tuesday, March 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Laurentian District Office, 318 Forestry Road Aurora, Minn. 55705.
- The Gunflint Ranger District open house is Thursday, April 23 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Schaap Community Center, 7401 Gunflint Trail, Grand Marais, Minn. 55604.
Forest Supervisor Tom Hall, district rangers and project staff will share information about mission-critical work including upcoming road and trail construction, prescribed fire, active management and recreation projects. You can also learn about Forest Service careers and partnership or volunteer opportunities.
