The Cook County Highway Department has lifted the travel advisory that was in effect yesterday morning due to blizzard conditions. Crews have been out since 4 a.m. today working on storm cleanup. County roads are generally passable; however, travelers should use caution while driving. Cleanup efforts will continue tomorrow.
