Hot conditions returning

Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday: high temperatures in the upper 80s to 90s are likely away from Lake Superior. Overnight lows in the 50s and 60s. Dew points in the 60s to low 70s will make it feel very sticky on Tuesday and especially Wednesday. Heat indices of 90-105°F are possible on Wednesday. These conditions could affect anyone without access to proper cooling and hydration.


Dry weather this weekend, which could make for areas of near-critical fire weather today and near-critical to critical fire weather on Sunday. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect northern St. Louis, northern Itasca, and Koochiching County on Sunday when dry weather will combine with gusty southeast winds.
