From the Cook County Land Services Department - November 5, 2025

Cook County Land Services announced yesterday that the Tofte Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, November 8, and Tuesday, November 11. It will reopen on Saturday, November 15.

A reminder that materials for disposal may be taken to the North Shore Waste Transfer Station in Grand Marais during their normal hours of operation, which are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
