Exploring for moose on a backroad in the Superior National Forest we came across this beautiful bald eagle. It was feeding on something right alongside the road. Good thing we were driving slowly as it got up and flew about twenty feet in front of our windshield. After flying down the road a short distance, it lands in this beautiful white pine in full sunlight. It couldn’t have made a better photo.
