Did you know at a young age that you had a gift for photography or how did this develop?
I don't know if I have a gift for photography, but I shoot what I see, something catches my eye, I take the shot. I'm out and about all the time so I get to see many things most people never will. I started taking photos before I was the age of 10, with a little Brownie camera.
Do you have a favorite photo that you have taken that never leaves your mind, even years later?
Probably the Moose calf triplets. I got to spend an awesome 15 minutes or so with them a number of years ago.

As someone who grew up in Cook County, if someone asked you to describe life here, what would you tell them?
It's a nice quiet area; so many things you can find to do from exploring the forest, lakes and streams. It can be endless, but it can be expensive to live here, unless you're rich. During my working years, I would work up to 4 jobs. Now I have 2 jobs, but at a slower pace

Fall is my favorite. The colors, the wildlife, and the opportunities for images are endless.

Do you have a favorite spot in the County that you head to when you need to unwind and relax?
So many spots I like. To unwind I just go for a drive or hike and just enjoy the sites.
