The maples are the first to change color along the North Shore. The reds are turning earlier than usual this year. Probably due to our recent warm days with plenty of sunshine.

Karla and I took the Gondola up to the top of Moose Mountain. It looked like there were rings of red maple mixed with the green of the birch and aspen that have not turned yet. It was a beautiful blue-sky day to get out and enjoy the start of the fall colors.
