Got leftover Halloween candy? Whether you bought too much or your kids came home with more than they could ever eat, here are some resources for donating and using up those sweet treats.
If you know of any Cook County organizations that accept individually wrapped or full, unopened candy bags, please email [email protected].
Additionally, the Grand Marias Food Shelf accepts unopened bags of candy. Donna Lunke, organizer (along with her husband, Orvis) of the 52-Week Food Shelf Challenge, said people can place full, unopened bags in the Food Shelf bins at IGA, Johnson's, or the Coop.
