Rain has started falling this afternoon, and will persist through the weekend. Total amounts through Monday around 1.5" to just over 2" expected, but it will fall gradually with a nice break for most places Saturday night.

Thunderstorm chances tonight into Saturday have decreased a bit. There's a 20-40% chance for non-severe thunderstorms embedded within a 80-100% chance of rain. Couldn't rule out a bit of small hail or gusty winds, but localized heavy rainfall will be the main threat. Stay tuned for updates!
