Saturday, September 16 – Karen Kobey; Animal Skull Mysteries presentation – 2:00 - 3:00 pm.
Have you ever found a skull in the woods? Karen’s love of helping folks discover the wonders in nature will help you identify skulls and discover the amazing adaptations of our animal neighbors.
Friday, September 22 – Artist-In-Residency Workshop; 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Heather Friedli, will be offering a free workshop for all ages on Friday, September 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Meet at Chik-Wauk Nature Center with your sketchbook and walking shoes to explore the trails.
Together you will discover local flora and fauna, learn about the wilderness, and do field sketching from the land.

Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm until Sunday, October 22.
Admission charge $6/adult, $3/children 5 – 18 under 5 are free. Discounts for Senior Citizens and the Military. Free admission for anyone with a Gunflint Trail Historical Society membership.
Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center is located at 28 Moose Pond Drive, Grand Marais, MN, off the Gunflint Trail (Hwy12) turn right onto Moose Pond Drive (Cty Rd 81).
