Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery releases a Request for Qualifications for Public Art Mosaic Project

The Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery (JHP) of the Cook County Historical Society (CCHS), through the generous support of the Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation, is seeking an artist or collaborative team to design and install a sidewalk mosaic for the main plaza entrance of the JHP Art Gallery in Grand Marais, MN.
Through the mosaic, the JHP aims to celebrate our community and the cultural heritage of the region. The goal is to commission a mosaic that reflects artistic and technical qualities and fosters a welcoming and uplifting environment. The location of the mosaic will be in the JHP central plaza, situated across from the harbor.
All applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, June 30, 2023.
