Grand Marais Playhouse announces Alice in Wonderland ensemble cast

The Grand Marais Playhouse is pleased to announce the ensemble cast for Alice in Wonderland. Each actor will play multiple roles in this classic children’s story of a young girl who falls down a rabbit hole to discover strange beings in a land that get “curiouser and curiouser.”
Our graduating high school seniors Kylie Viren and Rowan Lindholm lead the cast. Kylie will play the role of Alice and Rowan will play the White Rabbit and the Caterpillar.

- Naomi Tracy-Hegg as the Hatter
- Juniper Cefalu as the Dormouse, Humpty Dumpty and Tweedle Dee
- Maggie Gatzke as the Queen of Hearts and the Mock Turtle
- Kevin Kager as the King of Hearts, Frog Footman and Lewis Carol
- Payton Quaife as the Knave of Hearts
- Aurora Gallager as the Gryphon and Tweedle Dum
- Aubrey Williams as the Cheshire Cat
The play is directed and designed by Sue Hennessy.
Alice in Wonderland opens April 13 and plays weekends through April 23. Thursdays - Saturdays at 7 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Sunday April 15 will be donation at the door performance.

The set design will be completed soon and community members are encouraged to come be a part of this amazing production. Set builders, painters, costumers, creatives for prop and mask making, a videographer for some special effects, people interested in creating the sound environment, and a crew to help run the show backstage and in the booth.
