On Sunday, WDIO broadcast and streamed Debate Night in Minnesota, a three-hour debate broadcast live from Saint Paul College in St. Paul. The debate featured candidates running for Minnesota Secretary of State, Minnesota Attorney General and Minnesota Governor.

Both Incumbent Gov. Tim Walz and Dr. Scott Jensen were invited to participate in Sunday’s debate with other statewide races. Gov. Walz declined multiple invitations. Republican challenger, Dr. Scott Jensen was given a 30 minute question and answer period with the moderators.

On the ballot for Minnesota Governor Incumbent Tim Walz (DFL), Republican challenger Dr. Scott Jensen, Legalize Marijuana Now candidate James McCaskel and Grassroots-Legalize Cannabis candidate Steve Patterson. Election Day is Tuesday, November 8.
