Sawtooth Mountain Clinic (SMC) announces that the on-site pharmacy will reduce hours temporarily to cope with staffing shortages over the next few weeks.

The SMC Pharmacy has served the community safely during the course of the pandemic. “We are lucky that the pharmacy staff is currently healthy” states Pharmacist-in-Charge Anna Krevechenko, continuing “We hope that by briefly reducing hours we can stagger staff and keep everyone as healthy as possible”.

“While some staff illness is likely, the bigger issue is that the current COVID surge is affecting schools and daycares,” notes Kate Surbaugh, CEO. “These situations understandably affect our pharmacy staff. Hopefully, the situation will be short- lived.”

Krevechenko further notes, “The pharmacy staff is working hard, but there may be delays. Please allowplenty of time to get prescriptions filled. Calling 3-5 days ahead is best.”

Although the pharmacy hours will be changing, Sawtooth Mountain Clinic will remain open Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am – 12:00pm.
