Come cut your own tree on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 p.m.  This will be the last day to cut your own tree this season.

The Surbaugh family – who own property on Pike Lake Road outside of Grand Marais – have given families a special and increasingly rare opportunity to renew an old fashioned tradition: selecting and cutting their own Christmas trees.

Last weekend and this past Saturday, the Surbaughs invited families to come out to the property and select their favorite to harvest for this Christmas.  Sunday's opportunity was cancelled due to the blizzard.

But the Surbaughs hope to offer one more opportunity this coming weekend.  Stay tuned to boreal.org for more details.
