Are you ready for winter? To help you get ready, next week we are again offering our popular Winter Spotter Training class! This class will last about an hour and cover winter weather science, the winter 2021-2022 outlook, how to measure and report winter weather to NWS, and many resources available to stay up-to-date on the forecast.

Three live classes are being offered: Tues Nov 16 at 10am, Wed Nov 17 at 7pm, and Thurs Nov 18 at 1pm. This class will be offered via GoToWebinar, and a recorded version will be posted on our website later this month, too.

For more information and to sign up for one of the classes, please visit  https://www.weather.gov/dlh/winterspotter

This class is free and open to all - please feel free to share this announcement with friends and family! While the class focus will be on northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, people outside our region are welcome to attend the class, too.
