Vaccines are continuing to get into the arms of Minnesotans, Governor Walz announced Wednesday more than three million Minnesotans have now received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the governor's office, Minnesota’s COVID-19 outlook continues to improve and the state reports the lowest number of new cases and hospitalizations since the earliest weeks of the pandemic.

Fewer than 100 new cases per day has been reported in the last two days since April 2020.

Governor Walz credits the low COVID case numbers to the vaccine keeping Minnesotans out of the hospital.

Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan thanks all Minnesotans who got their shot.

As of Wednesday, a total of 3,005,706 Minnesotans have received at least one dose vaccine dose and 2,774,889 Minnesotans have received the complete vaccine series.

The state continues to encourage Minnesotans to get vaccinated.
