Mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics to operate throughout the week

Carlton, Lake, and Koochiching Counties have coordinated to schedule mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics at various community locations during the week of June 14th to offer the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. 

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, Metro Transit, the Metropolitan Council, and Minnesota Department of Transportation have re-purposed public transit buses that travel around the state each week, in coordination with local public health, to offer a unique opportunity for vaccinations.

Walk in appointments, as well as online registration will be accepted. Eligibility for all for clinics will be 18 and older. Masks are required on the bus, regardless of vaccination status. 

The clinics are as follows:

Monday, June 14th
Location: Backus Community Center, International Falls
Time: 4PM-7PM

Tuesday, June 15th
Location: Super One Foods, Two Harbors
Time: 2PM-5PM

Wednesday, June 16th
Location: Carefree Living, Silver Bay
Time: 11AM-3PM

Thursday, June 17th
Location: Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Cloquet, MN
Time: 10AM-2PM
