Skywarn spotters for the National Weather play an important role in our warning process and help our communities stay safe.

SKYWARN Class Schedule

For 2021, ALL classes will be held online in a virtual format. Classes are offered on different days of the week and at different times, but if none of the class times work for you, a recorded version will be available as well. If you sign up for a class and miss it, we'll send you the recording and you can still register as a spotter.

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR A VIRTUAL CLASS:
  1. Click the class you would like to attend below to show the registration link, or simply click here: Basic Class Registration / Advanced Class Registration
  2. Complete the registration form. If more than one person will be watching, you don't need to register more than once - we'll send an email about how to register as a spotter and get your certificate after the class.
  3. Once registered, you will receive an email with a link to join. Before the class, please visit the GoToWebinar System Checkand try a test session to make sure your computer, tablet, or smartphone is ready to attend the class! If you do not have a strong internet connection, you will have the option to call in by phone to listen to the audio. And if you end up having technical problems, you will receive a link to a recording after the class.
