The staff at Cook County Public Health has created an impressive document containing frequent questions and answers to Covid-19 related issues. You can read it here, in Google Docs: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1N7DysN3kxQsZ_nyfUVxQxdKXF1xLiUSKJyhk1tbncvM/edit?fbclid=IwAR1FDC1SVVEmzD8iW7ncmhrWRpeiknmwa7-xAXumb4X4F-H2zKb2Jwi8p-Y

Please copy and store that link. You may wish to go back to the FAQ on occasion. For now, the document is not printable. We're working on that.

This is a living document, and it will change as the situation changes.

We also want to offer you an opportunity to talk with Public Health professionals about any questions you might have regarding the topics in the FAQ or any other Covid-19 related topic you might wish to bring up.

We invite you to read the FAQ, make notes of your questions and then join us for a meeting via Zoom tomorrow, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. For those not familiar with Zoom, you can connect via computer through this link:

If you have not used Zoom previously, please try the link a little ahead of 2 p.m., as you will need to download and install a small piece of software.

Or you can dial in by telephone at this number: 312-626-6799. The meeting ID number is  828 3899 2676.

This is an experiment: If a sizable number of people join this Zoom meeting and find it worth while, we will investigate the possibility of making it a weekly Zoom get together where more than just pandemic issues may be discussed. We do something similar with just the Grand Marais business community, and they find it worth while, so we thought perhaps the Cook County business community would also enjoy talking and sharing concerns and questions.

Hope to see many of you tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Kind regards,

Jim Boyd
