In an email to Cook County Chamber of Commerce members on Monday, Executive Director Jim Boyd commented on the WCCO-TV report that "the report is on the legislation the Chamber has introduced to set a reasonable tax rate for short-term rentals. It features Judy Erickson, our representative in St. Paul."

He continued, "I have also attached a fact sheet our representatives in St. Paul have prepared on this. Did you know that in per capita sales, tourism is three times as large in Cook County as it is in Hennepin County?"
