From the Cook County Local Energy Project - February 26, 2020

The Cook County Local Energy Project is committed to the mission of encouraging solar power installations in Cook County.

This year we will be hosting a variety of workshops and events to teach the ins and outs of solar electric systems while encouraging communication between solar installers and prospective solar owners.

We would like to interview at least a few people who have recently had solar installed on their home or business.  We would like to use these interviews as promotional material to help others in the community feel more comfortable approaching the process of having a solar electric system installed.

If you would be willing to discuss your story with us and answer a few simple questions about your experience going solar, please respond via email.

The CCLEP is also holding an upcoming seminar on how to "Shrink Your Footprint" on March 7 beginning at 5PM at the Grand Marais Public Library.
