Local author Staci Lola Drouillard has been named a finalist in the Minnesota Non-Fiction category for her book 'Walking the Old Road: A People’s History of Chippewa City and the Grand Marais Anishinaabe.'

Judges for the 2020 Minnesota Book Awards are going to have a hard time making final decisions, based on the announcement Saturday of talented finalists for the annual award that honors Minnesota’s writers and publishers. Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library announced nominees in nine categories for the Book Awards, presented this year by sponsor Education Minnesota.
