Returning to Lutsen, Minn. for the fourth year, on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, riders will have the opportunity to challenge their winter cycling endurance as they pedal across established cross-country ski trails on the Norpine Cross Country Trail system.

The race start and finish are also new this year with Cascade Lodge hosting pre and post-race registration and festivities. Thom and Jelena McAleer, owners of Cascade Lodge, are excited to bring bikers along with their friends and families to the lodge and pub.  The 45NRTH Post Race Party located at 3719 West Highway 61, Lutsen, Minn. will include local libations from North Shore Winery and Voyageur Brewing.

Superior Cycling Association (SCA) is an organizational partner of the Norpine Fat Bike Classic.  Registration fees and donations go toward funding trail building and maintenance in Grand Marais and Lutsen. Course will be run predominately on the Norpine cross country ski trails.

This event is in cooperation with and under a Special Use Permit from the U.S. Forest Service. E Bikes are not allowed.
