The Sawtooth Elementary and Great Expectations D.A.R.E. graduating class and parents celebrated theeir traditional year-end graduation program on Friday, May 31 at 1:30 in the elementary gym at Cook County Schools.
Cook County Jail Administrator, Ben Hallberg, introduced himself and gave an explanation of the D.A.R.E. program. Claire Lindstrom and Natalie Poliquin, winners of the best student essays, shared their stories. Sylvie Hansen was named the winner of the poster contest. Following the hand-out of graduation certificates, class photos were taken.
