The National Park Service, Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and University of Minnesota Seagrant have together created a place based learning opportunity at Grand Portage National Monument this summer. 

This outdoor education opportunity is being offered free to youth ages 9-12 (with an adult mentor) and educators on three different occasions (July 13-14, August 3-4, August 23-24).  This opportunity is funded by the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
