May 01, 2019 01:34PM ● By Editor
Media Release from Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Public Health and Human Services - May 1, 2019

There's no doubt - it's important to know what's not working so that we can find ways to fix it.  But too often, the broken places become our sole focus.  We forget to look for what is working so that we can do more of it.  That's the goal of Positive Psychology - discovering strengths and then using those strengths to support what's working well.

In the April 2019 Topic of the Month we'll learn about Positive Psychology and:

  • what it means for a person to "flourish."
  • how to know if it's time to talk with a mental health provider.
  • Post-Traumatic Growth and how to build skills of resilience.

Click here to visit our Topic of the Month page!  There you'll find not only this month's issue but links to past issues as well.  There's a wide variety of topics.  Feel free to browse and share.

Or access May's Topic of the Month in the attached PDF.
