Lee Kerfoot, the son of Bruce and Sue Kerfoot, former owners of Gunflint Lodge, is trying to get enough online votes to make it onto the USA Today's 10 Best Reader's Choice Aerial Adventure Park 2019 list.

A panel of family travel experts nominated their favorite aerial adventure parks in North America for the contest, so just making that short list is an honor. Currently, Lee's Kerfoot Canopy Tour business sits 6th in the voting out of the 20 nominations. 

Located in Henderson, Minnesota, Kerfoot Canopy Tours offers two different adventures. Thrill-seekers can choose to take part in a zip line canopy tour with 14 zip lines stretching for over a mile through the Minnesota River Valley, while those looking for a different type of challenge can attempt to conquer the 45 unique obstacles (some 50 feet above the ground) at Adventure Park. 

The contest ends April 22 at noon eastern time. The 10 best winners, chosen by voters, will be announced Friday, May 3.  At the end of the 28-day voting period, the nominated businesses that have received the most eligible votes will be designated as the Readers' Choice for their respective categories and be awarded a badge of recognition as the 10 Best Readers' Choice.
