Rocky Wall Productions Announces 2024 Silver Bay Music In The Park Free Concert Series and Launches New Website

Today, Rocky Wall Productions announced its 2024 Silver Bay Music In The Park Concert Series lineup. The fourth season of a series of eight free Friday night outdoor concerts will be held every Friday night from July 19, 2024, through September 6, 2024 in downtown Silver Bay at City Center Park on an outdoor stage. The stage is located in downtown Silver Bay. 

Rocky Wall Productions President Nelson French said, “We are thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of musical talent for the 2024 concert season. We have a diverse mix of artists representing the best of Americana Music, ranging from blues and bluegrass to singer-songwriter folk, to alt-country and rock and roll”. Regionally acclaimed The Big Wu will kick off this year’s concert series and will be joined by the opening act of Nashville’s Caitlin Nicol-Thomas who will also join the band for the main show.  

Rocky Wall Productions is pleased to present the following outdoor Friday night concerts and dates:

July 19 The Big Wu 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm

July 26 Trailer Trash 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

August 2 Joyann Parker Band 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

August 9 the 4onthefloor 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm

August 16 Erik Koskinen 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

August 23 TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

August 30 John Ellison with The Carpenter Ants 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm 

September 6 Martin Zellar & The Hardaways 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm


“Our goal this year is to attract more than 5,000 attendees to the concerts and create a positive community vibe in downtown Silver Bay on late summer Friday evenings,” said board member Lisa Berg. “We encourage young and old, residents and visitors alike, to join us for some excellent music.”  

French said, “We have booked seven of the eight acts for this year and are in final negotiations with a major act for our August 23rd date and hope to be able to announce some exciting news by the end of this month. You are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and show up downtown at City Center Park any time after 5:30 pm. Bring a picnic dinner or plan to grab a dinner prior to the concert at the Northwoods Family Grille, Zoe’s Pizza Kitchen, or at one of the two local food trucks and vendors that may be present before and during the concerts. Inclement weather backup location will be Reunion Hall in Silver Bay.

Rocky Wall Productions also announced the launch of its new website and Saturday Night Benefit House Concert Series. “Several of the bands will be staying an extra day in Silver Bay and will donate their time for Rocky Wall Productions,” said board member Gene LaFond. “These Benefit House Concerts will help raise funds to sustain our program to bring high quality Americana music to Silver Bay and the North Shore.” LaFond mentioned that tickets must be purchased for these limited attendance events. A portion of each ticket sold is tax-deductible.
