If you're sticking around Cook County and Grand Portage on Monday, April 8, you can expect to witness 60% of the solar eclipse taking place that afternoon. Of course, being able to see the sun is dependent on cloud cover. (For more Cook County-specific eclipse details, click here.)
According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Duluth, about 70-80% of the sky will be cloud-covered.

With three days to go until the eclipse, the forecast can still change. However, there are other ways to see the eclipse if it is cloudy. NASA will be live-streaming the event starting at noon central time. Learn more here.
Boreal Community Media will continue to provide updates as more forecasts are released.
