Minnesota Public Radio creates YouTube "short": How to pronounce ‘Mni Sóta Makoce,’ the new state seal phrase

Recently, the Minnesota State Emblem Design Commission selected the final design for the new Minnesota State Seal, with certain modifications.
One of those modifications includes adding the Dakota phrase "Mni Sóta Makoc̣e", which translates to "Land where the waters reflect the sky".
With this new addition, Minnesota Public Radio Native News reporter Melissa Olson met with University of Minnesota Dakota language instructor Neil McKay to learn how to pronounce the phrase in English.
