Ski lovers rejoice: Lutsen Mountains announces opening date

The cold temperatures have many Minnesotans dusting off their winter gear and...waiting for snow. While Mother Nature might not be cooperating with cold-weather extracurriculars, some places are taking matters into their own hands.
Lutsen Mountains recently announced it had officially started making snow, and has a plan to open on Friday, December 1 for the season, Boreal Community Media confirmed. Celebrating its 75th year, the organization will be presenting its new chair lift, titled Raptor Express. Additionally, an updated ski map has been released, which you can find here: https://www.lutsen.com/winter/mountain-information/lifts-trails
