This year the maples along the Sawtooth Mountain ridges have turned earlier than most years, and the sunny days have made them as vibrant as I have ever seen them. I hiked into Lake Agnes along the Superior Hiking Trail to catch this awe-inspiring scene. Lake Agnes is surrounded by red maple. Hiking the Superior Hiking Trail gives you a view after view of the Sawtooth Mountains covered in the reds and oranges of the maples.

All I can say is take the time to head outside this fall and experience these amazing colors.
