The Cook County MN Highway Department has scheduled a public information meeting for the Tofte Park Road project at the Tofte Town Hall. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to gather input from local officials, the travelling public, and residents on the proposed improvements. Input gathered from the first town hall meeting was incorporated into the current proposed project. The current proposed project is to reconstruct Tofte Park road to a 7-ton standard on the east end (from the parking lot east to Highway 61) and a mill and overlay on the west end of the road. One of the entrances to Highway 61 will be removed on the west end, culvert replacements will occur throughout the project corridor, and drainage improvements will also be incorporated.
