UPDATE: Barnum fire 85% contained; Work continues

The Minnesota Incident Command (MNICS) reports the County Road 11 fire near Barnum has burned 82 acres since Monday. MNICS says there has been no growth reported since Tuesday. The fire is now 85% contained as of Friday morning. All evacuation orders have been lifted, and county roads have been reopened. Drivers should use caution in the area of Carlton County Road 8 and 11, as firefighting personnel will still be in the area.
