July 31, 2023 – A sub-surface application of calcium chloride is scheduled on Wednesday, August 2, and Thursday, August 3 through the project area on Pike Lake Rd/CR 45, the Cook County Highway Department announced today.

This sub-surface application includes reshaping and compacting the roadbed. This is the final stage of last year’s project. Travelers can expect delays and are asked to plan accordingly.
