“Bringing folks together under the big top is one of the exclamation points on the North House calendar,” said Greg Wright, Executive Director for North House, “and this year’s lineup continues the incredible tradition of music, craft, and community celebration that makes Unplugged a classic fall gathering.” Unplugged returns to North House’s campus September 14-16 with the generous support of Visit Cook County.

Thursday and Friday night concerts will feature Sean Carey (S. Carey, Bon Iver), Pieta Brown, Joe Rainey Sr., Dylan Bizhikiins Jennings, Mike Lewis (Alpha Consumer, Bon Iver), Jeremy Ylvisaker (Alpha Consumer, Andrew Bird), and Barbara Jean Meyers (Dusty Heart). Together they’ll be playing two incredible nights of music that you won’t want to miss.

Saturday morning will mark the second annual Family Concert, this year with five-time Grammy nominee Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players. Get ready for early-morning ice cream, family-friendly crafts, and a community celebration that packed the big top tent with dancing kids and grandparents last year. This concert is free for all community members to attend with special thanks to Superior Creamery and Caribou Highlands.

The weekend reaches a crescendo with the Birch Bark Bash—North House's signature fundraising dinner with incredible food from celebrated Chef, Scott Graden (New Scenic Café), along with a special celebration launching the start of North House’s Framing our Future capital campaign and the start of construction for the new Welcome Center. Special thanks to our beverage providers North Shore Winery, Fulton Beer, Voyageur Brewing, and Vikre Distillery (also providing non-alcoholic options).

Throughout the weekend you can explore the Folk Artisan Marketplace, take a deeper dive into craft through the speaker series, and support North House while finding unique experiences and crafts in the Points North Online Auction.
