The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources – Division of Forestry manages approximately 2,400 miles of state forest roads. Periodically, some roads must be closed during the summer to complete construction projects. Road closures may also affect OHV trails that are adjacent to the project.

Finland State Forest
Road Name: Beaver River
Location: Seven and a half miles southwest of the town of Finland
Project Description: Installation of a bridge where the forest road crosses the East Branch of the Beaver River.
Estimated Timeline: Beginning in Mid-July with a completion date of November 17th
Closure Information: The road washed out in the spring of 2022 and is currently closed at the project location. The road will remain closed at this location until project completion.
