Opening Day - The current conditions at Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center, are favorable to tentatively open the buildings for the season on Saturday, June 10.
It may change if there is additional significant rain in the coming week. The waters have been receding with the warmer temperatures.
However, the hiking trails on Chik-Wauk Campus will remain closed until further notice.
Current conditions will be posted on the GunflintHistory.org website.

Hours of operation for the season
Museum, Cabin Exhibit & Gift Shop 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Nature Center 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Watercraft Exhibit Building 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Admission charge $6.00/adult, $3.00/children 5 – 18 under 5 are free, discount for Senior & Military
Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center is located on the Gunflint Trail (Hwy 12) turn right onto Moose Pond Drive (UT 81).
