The Iron Range’s newest K9 officer is ready to hit the streets.

Officer Brittany Dillinger and K9 Dottie with the Hibbing Police Department successfully completed an electronic storage device detection course in Greenfield, Indiana.

The duo will have their first shift on the Range Wednesday.

K9 Dottie is now up to speed on not only providing detection of electronic storage media but skilled in de-escalation, workplace therapy, and victim calming mechanisms as well.

Anyone wanting to K9 Dottie and K9 Chase, they will be at the Iron Range Home, Sport, and Travel Show March 25-26.
