A new brew is coming to Bent Paddle, benefitting a community cause.

It’s called “Pay it Forward Pale Ale.”

All profits from the new brew will benefit Amberwing in Duluth.

Amberwing provides mental health services for youth and families in the Twin Ports.

The campaign is made possible through Bent Paddle in partnership with Bell Bank.

The Duluth brewery will have the “Pay it Forward Pale Ale” on tap starting Thursday.

Becky Hoversten-Mellem, the Clinical Supervisor at Amberwing, said this is an excellent opportunity to get the word out about the critical services they provide.

“Intervention for children and teens is really important. And so, increasing community awareness is really important. So we appreciate there getting the word out that it’s okay to ask for help and it’s okay to be struggling, and that help is available right here in our own community,” said Hoversten-Mellem.

Bent Paddle brewers say you can expect a pale ale flavor with some added hops.

$5 from each growler or crowler sold will go directly to Amberwing.

A launch party is planned for Thursday, Nov. 4 from 5-8 p.m. at Bent Paddle.
