Several Northland ice cream shops have been featured in the Explore Minnesota's '43 Must Visit Minnesota Ice-Cream Shops.'

Ice cream shops in Duluth, Cloquet, Grand Marais, and more made the sweet treat list.

There are roughly 100 ice cream shops featured on the Explore Minnesota list.

Here's a list of the Northland ice cream shops featured:

• Big Dipper Sweets & Ice Cream, Beaver Bay
• Gordy's Warming House, Cloquet
• Love Creamery, Duluth
• The Portland Malt Shoppe, Duluth
• Sydney's Frozen Custard, Grand Marais
• Pier 77 Mini-Golf and Creamery, Tower

Explore MN is starting the Minnesota Scoop sweepstake, where shops have crafted their take on an "Only in Minnesota" ice cream flavor.

Winners of the sweepstake can win a t-shirt and a chance to win grand prize travel packages and other weekly giveaways.
