Kids will deepen their relationship with plants by learning to draw them from observation. We will use a variety of drawing techniques as well as mindfulness and movement practices. By the end of class, students will have a beginner's understanding of contour, gesture, value, and negative space. They will be able to more confidently use drawing as a tool to observe the world around them more deeply. They will have a basic understanding of what makes plants different from one another. Perfect for budding naturalists! All supplies and materials are provided.
