AUDITIONS for Alice in Wonderland

Auditions are open for grade 6 to adult

for Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, adapted by Alice Gerstenberg
Auditions will be held Monday, February 6 at 5:30 - 7:00PM.
Auditions are open from grades 6 to adult.
Rehearsals are scheduled for Monday - Friday 5:30 - 7:30 beginning February 8.

Schedule will vary per role. A specific rehearsal schedule will be distributed at first rehearsal.

On accepting a role, each cast member agrees to attend all relevant rehearsals unless agreed AT THE TIME OF AUDITION with the production team.
As part of your audition, you will be asked to perform a small monologue. These monologues are listed on the Alice page at
 Monologue should be memorized.

When learning your monologue, remember to consider your character, and what they are feeling. How can you get this information over to your audience through your audition? You may feel free to choose any of the monologues for your audition, as no matter what you perform at audition you will still be considered for all parts. This said, if you are particularly keen on playing a specific part then it would be a good idea to prepare the appropriate one for audition. During the audition, you may be asked to perform your scene in different ways. You may also be asked to work on other small scenes from the play and take part in some group improvisations.
Come to audition in comfortable clothing ready to move around freely. Shoes must be worn, No boots or socks only. The role of Alice has already been cast. Performances are April 13,-16 and 20-23. You can find the script here:
